My first poster contest. "Congratulations to Dennis Ventilacion, the winner of the #BeatLA poster contest for the 2015 California Clasico match on Saturday, June 27 at Stanford Stadium! Ventilacion, a native of Monterey, was introduced to the opportunity by his friend, a current season ticket holder with the club. A passionate Bay Area sports fan, Ventilacion found his inspiration from the California rivalry and his love for the beautiful game. “I was really trying to focus on four elements,” Ventilacion said. “The first element was to have a soccer feel to it. The second element was to have a player taking a free kick around a wall. The third element was to express the Beat LA theme. Lastly, I wanted the poster to be different from anything else we’ve seen in the past. I went for a more classic look with the match being named the California Clasico.” As the first place winner, Ventilacion will receive four (4) match tickets, pregame tunnel access, his poster signed by the Quakes team in a limited edition frame and have his poster distributed to fans on match day."
